At the Workshop on climate change education, awareness & behaviour, Mariia Symonova and Anahit Ispiryan shared best practices of eco-friendly and awareness raising projects in their countries with attending youth and policy-makers from the EU and EaP countries. The Workshop aimed at inspiring EaP civil society representatives to step up climate change awareness and action in their home countries. The first workshop day was live-streamed for further in-country participation.
On the second day of the workshop, the participants visited two climate projects in the Belgian city of Ghent. “Buurzame stroom” aims to make it possible for everyone to istall solar panels on their roof. “Ghent en garde”, another project that foucses on climate-friendly food, is an inspiring front-runner on sustainable food policy.
