Online Steering Committee Meeting
The Steering Committee (SC) of the EaP CSF convened from 15 September to 17 September 2021 to discuss fundamental points regarding the agenda of the upcoming 13th Annual Assembly. Furthermore, the members of the Steering Committee elaborated on delegate selection procedures as well as miscellaneous issues, such as strategy development and financial matters.
In the first session, the SC members agreed to shape the agenda around the Eastern Partnership Summit and to concentrate all the sessions of the Assembly in 3 days, from Tuesday 30 November to Thursday 2 December 2021. Moreover, the members approved the following title: “Road to recovery: fostering reform and resilience for a stronger Eastern Partnership”. Additionally, the meeting participants discussed the structure and the thematic focus of the event as well as the EaP CSF Awards.
Given that the end of the current cycle of delegates is approaching, the Forum is preparing for the next delegate selection process (November 2021 – March 2022). In this context, the second session of the SC meeting focused on the timeline and procedures of the delegate selection process.
The last meeting considered issues regarding the recruitment process of a new Director of the EaP CSF Secretariat, financial matters, strategy development, the Annual Assembly 2022 as well as membership requests.
