Ukrainian Information Center of Humanitarian and Volunteer Support
The project aims to establish effective communication between organizations supporting vulnerable population groups and entities. By providing donor and humanitarian aid, the effectiveness of volunteer movement can be increased and the priority needs of people affected by the war on the territory of the Polissya region of Ukraine are ensured (Chernihiv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Rivne, and Volyn oblasts) through the creation of the Ukrainian Information Center for Humanitarian and Volunteer Support.

Project outcomes:

  • Outcome 1: The level of awareness of international and national donor structures about the needs of the Polissya regions of Ukraine in support of the local population and IDPs affected by the Russian military aggression has increased.
  • Outcome 2: Awareness of volunteer initiatives regarding the possibilities of attracting resources for the implementation of volunteer and humanitarian aid for the reconstruction of the Polissya regions of Ukraine affected by Russian military aggression has been increased.
  • Outcome 3: Regular communication has been established with the territorial communities of targeted regions of Ukraine that need humanitarian and/or volunteer support.
  • Outcome 4: The level of coordination of activities of volunteer/humanitarian initiatives and donor/charity structures in target regions of Ukraine affected by the Russian military aggression has increased.

Target groups:

  • The population and territorial communities of the Polissya regions of Ukraine (Chernihiv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Rivne, and Volyn oblasts) affected by the actions of the Russian occupying forces.
  • Organisations that provide direct support to the affected population (the first target group): volunteer initiatives, charitable organisations and foundations, and public associations that carry out volunteer, humanitarian and charitable activities in the current conditions on the territory of the Polissya regions of Ukraine.
  • Subjects of donor and humanitarian assistance (international donor structures, patrons, foundations, international charitable and humanitarian organisations).
