Psychological and legal assistance in action to respond and mitigate the impact of the war in Ukraine 
The purpose of the project is to help protect the rights of people with disabilities, people who suffered as a result of hostilities and were injured and to provide them with support during the war in Ukraine. The project will provide help and opportunities for people who need help and people who provide psychological and legal help. The work of the hotline «Psychological and Legal Support for People with Disabilities in Wartime» will be expanded, where requests for legal and psychological assistance will be received, and appropriate assistance will be provided, including group activities.

Project outcomes:

  • Outcome 1: The operation of the helpline is ensured and the range of the target audience has been expanded.
  • Outcome 2: Psychologists and lawyers who provide assistance to people have increased their resistance to emotional and professional burnout, and increased their level of knowledge in working with these target audiences.
  • Outcome 3: Established better networking and sharing of experiences among psychologists and lawyers who help people with disabilities, elderly people with limited mobility, and people who were injured as a result of the war.

Target groups:

  • People with disabilities, people with limited mobility, elderly people who were evacuated to safe places in Ukraine or abroad and need psychological or legal help;
  • People with disabilities, people with reduced mobility, elderly people who have not moved, are in Ukraine and need psychological or legal help;
  • Official representatives, relatives of people with disabilities who were evacuated to safe places in Ukraine or abroad or did not leave Ukraine and need psychological or legal assistance;
  • People who suffered as a result of hostilities, war events, are in Ukraine or abroad and need psychological or legal help;
  • Relatives of people who suffered as a result of hostilities are in Ukraine or abroad and need psychological or legal assistance;
  • Psychologists and psychotherapists who work in Ukraine or abroad with Ukrainians who suffered as a result of hostilities, people with disabilities;
  • Lawyers and advocates who work in Ukraine or abroad with Ukrainians who suffered as a result of hostilities, people with disabilities;
  • Organisations that collect funds to support initiatives to help people with disabilities and victims of hostilities, donors, state authorities, in particular local, local self-government bodies.
