A common Europe, without walls, in which people are treated with dignity and live in solidarity and security in democratic societies which are inclusive, tolerant, just, and environmentally responsible.
Working Group 1 works to develop stable democratic structures and to enable stronger civil society participation across the EaP region. It does so by championing Democracy, Good Governance, Stability and Human Rights. Working Group 1 is the largest within the Forum.
Working Group 2 provides expertise on trade, convergence with EU policies and standards, harmonisation of digital markets, structural economic reforms; it also takes an active interest in the implementation of bilateral trade agreements signed between the EU and EaP countries.
Working Group 3 works on shaping sustainable environmental, climate and energy policies for the EaP region considering national interests. Its members work towards improving environmental protection, energy efficiency and climate resilience as well as mitigating dependency on energy imports.
Working Group 4 focuses on several areas including Education, Youth, Culture, Research and Innovation. It aims to contribute to the improvement of the quality of education, advance modern youth policies, and promote inclusiveness across the EaP and EU countries.
Working Group 5 strives to promote social and decent employment matters as stand-alone priorities in the EU-EaP relations. It does so by providing expertise on a range of issues, including social policies, labour migration and rights, gender equality and fair pay, and social dialogue.
