The 2026 edition of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Summit will take place from 24 to 26 November in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova.
Organised by the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (EaP CSF), in cooperation with many local and international partners, the Summit will bring together over 250 representatives of civil society organisations, European Union (EU) institutions, and decision makers from the Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries and EU Member States, and provide a unique regional platform for dialogue, exchange and cooperation.
For years, the Summit had placed civil society voices at the forefront of policy discussions, highlighting their essential role in advancing democratic reforms, strengthening accountability, promoting human rights and building resilience across the Eastern Partnership region.
This year’s programme will focus on the key challenges shaping the future of the EU and the EaP, including:
EU enlargement and Eastern Partnership policy,
EU’s connectivity agenda,
Peace and security,
Democratic development,
Role of civil society and independent media.
During the Summit, EaP CSF delegates will adopt the Forum’s yearly Resolution, a key outcome of the event, setting out recommendations for the EaP countries and the EU.
The Civil Society Award Ceremony will also recognise an organisation that has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to defending democratic values, protecting human rights and promoting civic participation.
